2.Real-Money Risk

Staked races involve real cryptocurrency. If you lose the race, you lose your stake. Only ever stake what you can comfortably afford to lose. A small stake-tiered SOL entry fee is charged per player, and 3% of each settled pot is burned; network transaction fees also apply and are outside our control.

3.Skill-Based Competition

Moon Races staked events are head-to-head competitions decided by player skill — steering, braking, racing lines, and lap times — not by chance. Past performance is no guarantee of future results: you may simply be racing someone faster than you.

4.Age & Jurisdiction

• Staked racing is intended for persons 18 years or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).
• Laws on real-money skill gaming and cryptocurrency vary by country and region. It is solely your responsibility to ensure participation is lawful where you are. Do not use VPNs or other means to evade local restrictions.
• If staked play isn't appropriate or lawful for you, Free Play remains available with no wallet and no stakes.

5.Blockchain Risks

• Irreversibility: confirmed on-chain transactions cannot be undone. Triple-check stakes and addresses before signing.
• Wallet custody: you control your wallet and keys; we never hold them and can never recover them for you.
• Smart-contract risk: the escrow program is designed so funds can only be paid to the winner or refunded to stakers, with permissionless refunds after deadlines — but no software is beyond all risk.
• Network conditions: congestion, outages, or fee spikes on the underlying blockchain are outside our control.

6.Race Results Are Final

Race outcomes are determined by the authoritative race server (the referee) and settled on-chain. Once a result settles, it is final. Disconnections, browser crashes, device failures, or connection quality on your side are your responsibility — a race that settles while you were offline still stands. If a filled race fails to settle at all, the on-chain refund path returns every stake.

7.Beta Software — Provided "As Is"

Moon Races is in active development. The game, site, matchmaking, and settlement services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any feature will remain unchanged. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moon Races and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8.$MOONXR Token

• $MOONXR is a utility token intended for use inside the Moon Races ecosystem (race entries, cosmetics, events).
• It is not an investment, not a security, not equity, and confers no ownership, dividends, or profit-sharing of any kind.
• Its market value — if any — can go to zero. Never acquire $MOONXR with the expectation of profit.
• Beware of scams: the only official contract address will be published on moonraces.com at launch. Anything else — DMs, replies, look-alike sites — is fraudulent.

9.Responsible Play

Racing should be fun. Set limits, take breaks, and never chase losses. If real-money play stops being entertainment, stop — Free Play is always there. If you feel your play is becoming a problem, seek support from a local problem-gaming resource.
